📜 Competition Terms & Conditions (Skill-Based Prize Competition)

1. Promoter

Throughout these terms, “we”, “us” and “our” refer to That Comp Company.

2. Competition Format

This is a skill-based prize competition and is not a lottery.

In accordance with the Gambling Act 2005, entry requires participants to correctly answer a skill-based question.

Only entrants who answer the question correctly will be entered into the draw. Incorrect answers will be deemed invalid and excluded.

No free postal entry route is offered as the competition includes a genuine element of skill.

3. Eligibility

Entrants must:

  • Be aged 18 years or over
  • Be a resident of the United Kingdom (unless otherwise stated)

Employees of That Comp Company, their families, agents, or anyone professionally connected with the competition are not eligible.

We reserve the right to request proof of identity, age, and address and to disqualify any entrant who does not meet the eligibility criteria.

4. Entry

Entry is made via purchase on our website.

  • The ticket price is clearly displayed on the product page
  • Each ticket equals one entry
  • Entries are only valid once payment has been successfully received
  • Entrants must answer the skill-based question correctly at the time of entry
  • There is no maximum entry limit per person unless otherwise stated

We reserve the right to refuse or cancel entries at our discretion where necessary.

5. Skill Question

All entrants must answer the competition question correctly to qualify.

  • Answers must be submitted at the time of entry
  • Only correct answers will be entered into the draw
  • Incorrect, incomplete, or illegible answers will be disqualified
  • We reserve the right to verify answers before the draw

No correspondence will be entered into regarding incorrect answers.

6. Closing Date

The competition will close when:

  • The maximum number of entries is reached, OR
  • The stated closing date/time is reached

(Whichever occurs first).

We reserve the right to extend or amend the closing date if necessary, provided this does not materially disadvantage entrants.

Entries received after closing will not be valid.

7. Entry Volume & Transparency

The total number of entries available for each competition is clearly stated on the relevant product page.

Once all available entries have been sold, the competition will close automatically.

This ensures all competitions are conducted fairly and transparently.

8. The Draw

All valid entries (correct answers only) will be entered into a random draw.

  • The winner will be selected using an independent random number generator
  • The draw may be conducted live on social media or recorded for transparency
  • The winning entry number will be displayed publicly

The winner will be contacted using the details provided at checkout.

If the winner does not respond within 7 days, we reserve the right to redraw.

9. The Prize

The prize is:

  • The prize is non-transferable
  • A cash alternative may be offered at our discretion
  • Collection or UK delivery will be arranged with the winner

10. Refund Policy

All entries are final and non-refundable, except in the event the competition is cancelled.

  • Incorrect answers do not qualify for refunds
  • Change of mind or accidental purchases are not eligible for refunds

If the competition is cancelled, all valid entrants will receive a full refund.

11. Disqualification

We reserve the right to:

  • Disqualify entries with incorrect answers
  • Disqualify entrants suspected of fraud, manipulation, or abuse
  • Cancel or refuse entries that breach these terms

Any attempt to manipulate or unfairly influence the competition will result in disqualification.

12. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, That Comp Company shall not be liable for:

  • Any loss, damage, or injury arising from participation
  • Technical issues affecting entry or communication
  • Events outside our reasonable control

Nothing in these terms excludes liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence or fraud.

13. Data Protection

All personal data will be processed in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

By entering, you agree that if you win, we may use your name, image, and location for promotional purposes without additional compensation.

14. Governing Law

These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of England and Wales.

Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
